Laura is a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist specializing in family related challenges. She works with individuals, couples, and families with a primary focus on enhancing relationships and improving the overall quality of life. Laura’s therapeutic “personality” is to provide unconditional positive regard for all people coupled with realistic, honest feedback while considering all aspects of an issue. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to deliver a highly personalized approach, tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to assist them in building their strengths to attain the personal growth they desire.

On a Personal Note Laura is the wife of Brian Huggins and the mother of adult daughters: Kenzie (Stephen) Cole, Halee (Caleb) Crabtree and Savana (Brandon) Mezquiriz. She enjoys a quiet, rural life in the Shelbyville with her two black Labradors, Sebastian (therapy dog) and Anastasia (NOT a therapy dog). Her interests include traveling, exploring historic hotels, reading, and snowmobiling.
